History of the Arizona Teenage Republicans
Founded by Lois Fitch at Saguaro High School, Scottsdale, AZ What began as a local initiative to inspire young people with Republican principles quickly grew into a statewide force. Today, decades later, the Arizona Teenage Republicans continues this proud legacy: uniting conservative teens in meaningful activities, leadership development, and grassroots activism.
Josh Kenchington
March 2023 – July 2023
Josh served as the first Chairman of the Teen Republicans
and the First Chair of the Southeast Valley Chapter!
He pioneered as the leader of the Teen Reps after COVID-19 disrupted the club’s membership and communications.
After TARS, Josh served two years as a missionary in Lima, Peru.
He is now back in the states, pursuing a degree at
Brigham Young University in Utah!
Nico Delgado
July 2023 – April 2024
Nico served as the second Chairman of the Teen Republicans and the first
Vice-Chair of the West Valley Chapter!
After TARS, Nico founded NicoPAC, a Political Action Committee, which invested in countless election races across the state, achieving victories for Republican candidates!
In 2025, Nico serves as Representative Hamadeh’s special assistant in Washington D.C.! He is also a Youth Advisor for the Arizona Republican Party.
Troy Holderby
April 2024 – March 2025
Troy served as the third Chairman of the Teen Republicans and
the first Chairman of the West Valley chapter!
After TARS, Troy is pursuing a degree at Arizona State University in Tempe. At ASU, Troy serves as President of the ASU College Republicans, who recently hosted a vigil for the late Charlie Kirk at ASU’s Desert Financial Arena, with over 8,000 attendees.
Yidi Chen
March 2025 – June 2026
Yidi served as the fourth Chairman of the Teen Republican club and the First Vice-Chair of the Southeast Valley Chapter.
He is a high school student in Tempe, Arizona, where he actively participates in his robotics club.
Yidi has been involved in Arizona politics for over five years now, being involved in campaigning, recruiting, and leadership.
He plans to attend Arizona State University upon graduating from high school.
Gabby Ehmann
June 2026 – present
Gabby serves as the fifth Chairman of the Teen Republican club and the Vice-Chair of the West Valley Chapter.
